  Well located, comfortable rooms and friendly staff. Only 3 stars because my evening meal was pretty average (steak pie rather tasteless) and the rooms aren't cheap. Would suggest eating out if staying - there are a couple of alternatives not too far away.

  I stayed here with a group of six walkers ,we were given rooms under an outside staircase ,the rooms are adequate but we were kept awake all night by other guests arriving late and others leaving early to watch the sunrise making sleep impossible. The staff are doing the best they can but appeared well rehearsed when I complained and when you pay in full on arrival they are in a strong position, the drinks and food are over priced and ordinary. But the hotel is in a very good location to visit the island. All in all not impressed

  Lovely pub. Caters for pretty much everyone. Especially for our family of four plus two Border Collies. The pub is very pet friendly. There is a snug room to keep the pets apart from the other clientele. Food was pretty good. Staff were very friendly.

  we eat here quite regularly. the staff are brilliant... last time we were here however, the menu had changed and prices were increased significantly. upon ordering a sirloin steak for £25 I was asked if I would like to order a "side" of chips at an extra £2.50. kids meals are delicious and good value for money though. overall a very pleasant place to eat. love the 5* staff
